Commands of Auto CAD
There are
different commands for different tasks and they are accessed by different ways.
One command can be accessed at least by three ways. Like from command menu,
from command tool bar and by typing short cut or command in the command bar.

Meanings
This command is
used to draw a straight or curve type line. Its short cut is “L”. F8 is used to
draw a straight line by default, which means “Ortho On” or “Ortho Off”.

Syntax
Type “L” and
click on the black screen as starting point of the line
Drag on the
screen and click again for second point to draw a line
To cancel the
command press “Esc” button

used to erase / delete any line / object. It is edit menu command. Its short
cut is “E”

Syntax
Type “E” in
command bar and press enter

specific line / lines you wanna erase / delete
Press the right
click / enter to erase the line / lines
To cancel the
command press “Esc” button

Meanings
This command is
used to trim / cut a specific line / lines. Means this command is used to cut a
specific line / lines from a specific point. It is modify menu command and its
short cut is “Tr”.
b.
Syntax
Type “Tr” short
cut and press enter.
Select the
crossing line that gives you the cutting point
Press right click
/ enter
Click on that line
/ lines you wanna trim
To cancel the
command press “Esc” button
