Meanings
This command is
used to cut / trim a line / lines from a crossed point. It is modify menu
command and its short cut is “tr”. This command is used in three ways.

Single Click Syntax
Type “tr” short
cut in command bar and press enter
Select an
opposite line that crossed a line you want to cut / trim and press enter
Click on the
line / lines you want to cut / trim

Double Click Syntax
Type “tr” short
cut in command bar and press enter twice
It will auto
cut / trim any lines you will click on
In this way one
can freely / without selecting the target, can cut / trim as many lines as he /
she wants

Double Click & F Syntax
Type “Tr” short
cut in command bar, press enter twice, type “F” (Fast), and press enter
The control or
pointer / cursor will make a doted line where you will drag your control or
pointer / cursor. The lines that will come into the doted line / box / windows
will be cut / trimmed.

Meanings
This command is
used to extend a line / lines upto a specific target; to make a line continued
line, instead of many joints / breakings in the lines. This is modify menu
command and “ex” is its short cut. There are two ways to extend a line / lines.

Type “ex” short
cut in command bar and press enter
Select target
line up to that you want to extend a specific line / lines and press enter
Click on a line
/ lines you want to extend

time again on a line you want to extend time and time again

This command is
used to hide / appear start, mid and ending points of an object / line.

Meanings
This command is
used to joint the end of two different angles line and it trim or extend the
lines automatically incase if the lines are short or crossing each other. It is
also modify menu command and “F” is the short cut of this command.
b.
Radius
Before one
might use this command, he/she must know the radius. If one desires to join the
two opposite lines on the 90 degree angle than the radius must be always zero
incase the radius is not zero the lines will take curve from the joining point.
c.
Syntax
Type “F” in
command bar
Message will
appear
Type “R” and
give the desired radius, which is mostly zero
Than click on
the firs line, you want to fillet and than on opposite line you want to fillet

This drawing is
prepared for a client. It is mostly formatted with single line sketch. This is
drawing mostly does not fallow any rules etc.

Submission Drawing
This drawing is
properly formatted according to some certain state, city rules and regulations.
It has complete and full details of every thing that might be constructed.

is used to make copy of any object. It is edit menu command and it has two
short cuts. “Co” and “Cp”.

Multiple Copy
In Auto CAD 2004
there is a multiple coping option, which can be activated only by pressing “M” after
activation of copy command but in 2006 by default this command is activated and
when copy command is used it automatically copy time and time again the source
object.
